This is our first Wayne’s Automotive Customer Letter of the Year. We very grateful to all our customers who allow us to serve them. We also give heartfelt thanks to Mr. Trueax for his kind letter.
This letter is to say a big Thank You for getting my wife out of a very disconcerting situation. We had started on a trip, leaving from Gridley, CA, and had arrived in Reno where I lost my memory for a few hours and had to be hospitalized. My wife, Ruth, had to drive our 1951 DeSoto, which she doen’t drive often, and during this time had trouble keeping in running. I was going to change the fuel pump when I lost my memory and didn’t even know what I was doing.
You were willing to work on the car, which many shops will not do, and did a very workman like job of installing the new fuel pump. The pump was the problem, by the way. We left Reno and drove to Montana and home with no problem what so ever.
My wife was very impressed and pleased by the way she was treated at your shop. She was not made to feel inadequate, even though her mechanical knowledge is rather limited.
Dealing with you was a satisfying experience, and though I am not from the area, I would certainly recommend your shop to anyone I know who was passing through town.
